Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, William Mcsnottem! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Greco Roman! The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mcsnottem lands a head kick. Roman smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Roman blocks a head kick by Mcsnottem.
Roman chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Mcsnottem can pounce on him.

Mcsnottem throws a head kick that misses. Mcsnottem misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Roman shoots in looking for a takedown. Mcsnottem tries to sprawl out of it but Roman keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mcsnottem manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Mcsnottem fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Roman. Mcsnottem misses with a head kick.
Roman fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mcsnottem manages to avoid it. Mcsnottem lands a high kick!
Mcsnottem connects with a high kick. Mcsnottem looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
William Mcsnottem seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nice body kick there by Mcsnottem. Mcsnottem scores with a head kick.

Roman changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mcsnottem tries to avoid it but Roman manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mcsnottem to the ground. Mcsnottem escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mcsnottem pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Roman drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Mcsnottem is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Roman asserts his dominance and retains side control. Roman tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Roman connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Mcsnottem some visible discomfort.

He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Roman is looking to take a break and control but Mcsnottem is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Roman working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Roman has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Mcsnottem takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Roman tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Roman has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Mcsnottem takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Roman is looking to take a break and control but Mcsnottem is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Roman scoring with punches from side control. Roman working the body and head with strikes.
Mcsnottem is rocked! A big shot lands for Roman! That's hurt Mcsnottem! Will he recover? Roman fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
