Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dexter Dalit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robert Bolden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dexter Dalit!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Robert Bolden!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Wesley Smith and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bolden drives through with a takedown into Dalit's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Bolden content to stall in guard here.
Bolden wants to control from the top but Dalit keeps moving.
Bolden stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dalit swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Bolden passes into half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dalit wants to get back to his feet.
Bolden thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Dalit to regain full guard.
Bolden wants to pass the guard but Dalit is keeping the position.
Bolden trying to control but Dalit is working from the bottom.
Bolden wants to pass the guard but Dalit is keeping the position.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Bolden pushing down on Dalit's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Bolden with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Bolden is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.
Dalit looking to control.

Dalit wants to get back to his feet but Bolden is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Bolden slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Bolden working the ground and pound but Dalit is defending the strikes.
Bolden wants to control but Dalit is keeping him busy.
Bolden tries to move to mount but Dalit blocks the move with his legs.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Bolden postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
The ground and pound from Bolden seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Bolden advances nicely into full mount.
Dalit on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Dalit tries to get out of the position.
Bolden looking to control but Dalit is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Robert Bolden dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Dalit takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Dalit throws a series of punches but Bolden moves out of range.

Dalit darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Bolden wants to control but Dalit is keeping busy and won't allow it.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Bolden looking for a kimura from the bottom but Dalit passes into side control!
Dalit is looking to take a break and control but Bolden is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Bolden tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Dalit wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Bolden tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Dalit presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Bolden is working to get back to half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Bolden is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Dalit tries to control but Bolden wriggling away.
Bolden tries to reverse the position but Dalit maintains control.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Bolden sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Bolden is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

The ref stands the fighters back up. Dexter Dalit wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Bolden shoots and misses
and Dalit counters with a straight right hand.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dexter Dalit dominated that second round.
That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!


Dalit lunges at Bolden with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Bolden's hand.
Bolden pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Dalit back to the cage. Bolden follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Bolden shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Dalit counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Dalit.

Bolden is looking for a triangle but Dalit pushes his legs off easily.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Bolden is on top in guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bolden wants to pass the guard but Dalit is keeping the position.
Robert Bolden has got the better of the ground game so far.
Bolden is stalling in the full guard.
Bolden trying to control but Dalit is working from the bottom.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Bolden loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Dalit keeping full guard, as Bolden tries to pass.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Bolden's corner calls for a 1-2. Bolden obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Dalit throws a looping overhand right but Bolden ducks down to avoid it.
Bolden throws a combination that misses

and Dalit counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Dalit.

Bolden looking for subs off his back but Dalit has passed one foot through into half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Dalit is taking a breather. Bolden says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Dalit prevents Bolden from improving his position.

And that's the end of the fight!
Dexter Dalit showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Dalit has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
