Smith throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Smith misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Menez.

Smith stuffs the takedown attempt from Menez. Menez gets slowly back to his feet.

It looks like Florent Menez has been cut.

Menez tries to move into range but Smith moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Smith cracks Menez with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Smith has cracked Menez with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Smith lands another huge swinging hook and Menez tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Menez, before Smith can land any more shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Robert Smith!
