Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bruce Parker!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Hirohito Nitta and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gomi lands a jab-cross combination.
It looks like Bruce Parker has been cut.
Gomi swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Parker tries for a takedown but Gomi circles away easily
and Gomi cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Parker dives in and grabs Gomi's left leg, looking for a takedown. Gomi pushes down on Parker's head and hops out.
Horrible takedown by Parker or perhaps it was just good defense by Gomi which made him look bad.
Isaki Gomi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bruce Parker.
Parker misses with a takedown attempt - Gomi sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
