Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Donatello Bradman and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Deby shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Janiszewski manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Janiszewski keeping moving, preventing Deby from controlling successfully.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Deby with a flurry of punches that miss.
Janiszewski will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Robert Deby.

and Deby counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Deby not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Deby wants to control from the top but Janiszewski keeps moving.
Deby makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Deby got a little sloppy there for a moment and Janiszewski has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Deby has managed to get both his arms back between Janiszewski's legs - danger averted.
Deby slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Janiszewski is looking for a sweep.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Janiszewski is trying to control Deby's posture but Deby avoids it.

Deby wants to control but Janiszewski is keeping him busy.

Deby has hold of Janiszewski's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Janiszewski tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Deby cranks the arm and Janiszewski screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Janiszewski, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
