The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ganthi fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Chekhemani to the ground. Ganthi is now in Chekhemani's guard.
Chekhemani looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Ganthi trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Ganthi wants to control from the top but Chekhemani keeps moving.
Ganthi might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Chekhemani kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Mahatmha Ganthi was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Ganthi ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Ganthi no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
