Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Hunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Chris Harris enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mike Hunt! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chris Harris! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Elvis Blanc and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hunt has his takedown stuffed and Harris counters by clinching up. Harris is pressed up against the cage. Hunt has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Harris down to the mat. Harris avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Harris shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Hunt decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Harris's guard. Hunt works a leg free and moves into half guard. Hunt is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Harris is just riding it out for now. Hunt eventually gives up the hold. Hunt looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
That's one minute gone in the round. Harris looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Harris looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Hunt trying to mount his opponent but Harris defends it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Hunt is thwarting Harris's attempts to control the position. Hunt trying to control the pace. Harris is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Hunt's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Hunt's back! You can see the frustration on Hunt's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Harris looking to hold on to the position here but Hunt rolls and ends up regaining guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Harris avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Hunt escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Harris gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Harris wants to control from the top but Hunt keeps moving. Hunt wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Harris manages to pass to side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hunt tries to roll over but Harris keeps him under control. Harris is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mike Hunt dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Hunt misses with a takedown attempt and Harris counters with a nice uppercut. Harris tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Hunt swivels and escapes. Hunt changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Harris looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Harris tries to improve position but can't. Hunt trying to control the position but Harris is working away. Hunt decides to stand up, so the ref orders Harris to his feet. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Hunt leaves Harris with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Harris tries to clinch but Hunt is having none of it. Hunt fails in his attempt to clinch. Hunt shoots in for a double leg but Harris sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Harris misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Hunt doesn't succeed with the takedown and Harris counters with a lovely shot to the body. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mike Hunt. That's going to take a lot out of him. Harris is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hunt shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Harris as he jumps to the side. Harris shoots in for a double leg but Hunt sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Hunt manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Harris on his heels. He'll look to pass Harris's guard now, I'm sure. Hunt postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Harris avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Hunt trying to move into half guard but instead Harris has managed to sweep! Hunt is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Harris trying to control the position from guard on top but Hunt is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Hunt is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Hunt keeping moving, preventing Harris from controlling successfully. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Harris controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Chris Harris wasn't active enough on the ground. Hunt gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Harris wants to control from the top but Hunt keeps moving. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Chris Harris will probably get the nod - 10:9. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Hunt fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Harris throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Harris tries to close the distance and clinch but Hunt swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Harris tries to clinch up. Harris slaps away a takedown attempt from Hunt, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hunt shoots in but no luck this time. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mike Hunt. That's going to take a lot out of him. Harris is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Hunt's half guard. Harris trying to control the action but Hunt is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mike Hunt overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Harris takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Hunt looking for submissions off his back. Hunt has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Harris is working away from the top position though. Hunt moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Harris trying to control the position from guard on top but Hunt is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hunt is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Harris sitting in guard here, content to control. Hunt keeping moving, preventing Harris from controlling successfully. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Hunt throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Harris escapes and throws Hunt's legs to the side, diving into side control! A control attempt from Hunt but he's now mounted!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hunt is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Hunt defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Harris. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Harris is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Hunt can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Harris prevents Hunt from getting the reversal.
And that's the end of the fight! Chris Harris comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Harris has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
