The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Stram or perhaps it was just good defense by Baskov which made him look bad.
Baskov looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Stram with a lazy takedown attempt
and Baskov counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Stram has a takedown stuffed.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Taylor Stram. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Baskov displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Stram.
Stram fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Stram tries for a takedown but Baskov circles away easily
and Baskov counters with a two punch combo.

Baskov wants to get back to his feet but Stram is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Stram works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Stram passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Baskov!
Stram looking to isolate an arm here. Baskov doesn't see it coming and as Stram extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Stram!
