Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, John Kavanagh and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Francis throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Muakbar.
Muakbar avoids the head kick by Francis.
Muakbar drives through with a takedown into Francis's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Francis escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Muakbar gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Francis is breathing heavily.
Muakbar controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Muakbar distracts Francis with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Muakbar slips nicely into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Muakbar looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Muakbar in particular looking to stall.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Muakbar working the head and body with strikes.
Muakbar takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Muakbar uses his free foot to push down on Francis's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Francis.
Muakbar breaks from Francis's wrist control and lands an elbow.
It looks like Dwight Francis has been cut.
Muakbar is landing with some decent strikes but Francis is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Francis is rocked!
Dwight Francis's cut is getting worse.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Muakbar connects with a bit shot that sees Francis covering up! More strikes from Muakbar and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Muakbar is our winner by TKO!
