Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nick Quick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tzu Fxt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Tzu Fxt enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nick Quick! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tzu Fxt! The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Jorge Garcia and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Quick shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Quick showed some decent athleticism there. Quick passes to full mount! Fxt is in all sorts of trouble here.
Quick content just to control the position here. Fxt is bucking up trying to escape but Quick cracks him with another couple of good strikes. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Quick controlling from mount. Fxt can't escape the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Quick tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Quick lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Quick landing strikes from the mount and Fxt is in trouble! Quick controlling from the full mount. Fxt gets back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fxt wants to get back to full guard but Quick has passed into side control. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Fxt is looking for a sweep. Quick is looking to take a break and control but Fxt is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Quick landing strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fxt is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Quick off and has taken his back! Quick rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.

Fxt looks gassed! Quick is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Fxt pulls his head out easily. Fxt prevents Quick from improving his position. Quick slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Fxt got a little sloppy there for a moment and Quick has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Fxt has managed to get both his arms back between Quick's legs - danger averted. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nick Quick dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Quick lands with a right hand. Fxt tries to sprawl but Quick drives through with a takedown into half guard. Fxt wants to get back to full guard. Fxt is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Fxt is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Quick with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Quick prevents Fxt from improving his position. Quick trying to control the pace.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Nick Quick just wasn't active enough. Good shot there by Quick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Quick shoots in and bounces Fxt off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Fxt can't keep his opponent in guard - Quick advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Still in half guard, Quick seems content to control. Quick working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Quick is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Nick Quick wasn't doing enough on the ground. Quick has Fxt up against the cage in a clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Quick gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Quick tries to free his leg and advance position but Fxt is retaining full guard. Fxt being controlled here, momentarily. Quick connects with a couple of short punches. Quick slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Fxt has momentary wrist control but Quick slips an elbow through the middle. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nick Quick dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Quick drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Quick cracks Fxt with a big elbow. Fxt wants to control but Quick postures up. Quick is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Fxt will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Fxt is looking to regain half guard here but Quick keeps moving and retains side control. Fxt manages to work his way to half guard, despite Quick's best efforts. Quick keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Fxt takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Quick lands with a punch from half guard. Quick content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fxt looking for submissions off his back. Quick not doing much here.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Quick's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Tzu Fxt has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Nick Quick wasn't doing enough on the ground. Nice shot by Quick. Quick tries to score a power double leg takedown but Fxt sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Quick somewhat. Fxt misses with an attempted mid kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Quick doesn't manage to clinch there - Fxt circles away.
Quick tries to clinch but Fxt moves out of range. Quick tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Quick sizes up Fxt with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Quick has closed the distance and engaged Fxt in a clinch.
Quick is trying to trip Fxt. He has hold of a leg but Fxt is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Quick persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Quick pushing down on Fxt's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Quick controlling the pace. Fxt tries to roll over but Quick keeps him under control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Quick controlling the action here. Nick Quick is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Fxt tries to get to full guard but Quick has control of the leg.
And that's the end of the fight! Nick Quick showed his dominance in that final round. Well Quick has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
