The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sillva with a lazy takedown attempt
and Fuckwell counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Sillva takes one to the chin there.
Sillva misses with a takedown
and Fuckwell counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Fuckwell tries to bum rush Sillva with a series of wild strikes but Sillva uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Fuckwell moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Fuckwell ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Sillva looks gassed!
The fighters circle momentarily. Fuckwell darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sillva has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Fuckwell thuds his right hand into Sillva's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Sillva is rocked!
Sillva shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Fuckwell counters with a big right hand! Oh Sillva is in trouble here! Fuckwell follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
