The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hero lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Hero.

Hero gets caught flat footed, as Tchuisse shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Tchuisse wants to control from the top but Hero keeps moving.
Tchuisse looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Tchuisse trying to control the position from guard on top but Hero is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Jerry Tchuisse wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Hero cracks a nice hook into Tchuisse's ribs.
Hero dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Tchuisse throws a wild hook but Hero just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Tchuisse gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Hero raises his hands in celebration and walks away!
