Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lennon Joe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Martin has chosen Freude schöner Götter Funken as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Lennon Joe has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Lennon Joe! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Peter Martin! The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Hirohito Nitta and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Joe misses with a takedown attempt and Martin counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Joe with a poor takedown so Martin counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Martin working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Martin throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Martin drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Joe manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Martin has Joe in his guard. Martin doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Joe drops back looking for a leg! Martin is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Martin manages to kick Joe off! Joe jumps back into Martin's guard. Joe drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Martin dives on top into guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Joe avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Joe has momentary wrist control but Martin slips an elbow through the middle. Joe working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Martin. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Martin accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Joe avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Joe is breathing heavily. Martin is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Martin landing some decent shots from guard. Martin postures up and lands a big shot to Joe's brow.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Martin working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Joe's head. Martin thows a big elbow that misses. Martin cracks Joe with a solid left hand. Martin lands a couple of digs. Martin makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Martin trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Martin connects with a couple of short punches. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Martin lands a couple of digs. Martin lands a couple of elbows. Martin throwing strikes but missing. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Joe has momentary wrist control but Martin slips an elbow through the middle. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Martin's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Martin stands up over Joe, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Martin working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Martin drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Martin as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Joe screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Martin! Nice submission victory there!
