Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Suzuki Pv (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuck Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lee has chosen "Eyes of A Ranger" as his entrance music. Chuck Lee told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Suzuki Pv!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Chuck Lee!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Shirou Masuda and Kenichi Hosakawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pv uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Lee.

Lee shoots in and bounces Pv off the ropes to secure the takedown into guard.
Pv wants to control but Lee passes easily into half guard.
Lee prevents Pv from improving his position.
Pv trying to control but Lee postures up.
Lee prevents Pv from improving his position.
Lee tries to stand but can't do so whilst Pv controls his leg.

Pv looking for a kimura from the bottom but Lee passes into side control!

Lee decides to stand up, so the ref orders Pv to his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Lee misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Lee misses the shot to the body.
Chuck Lee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lee throws a right and a left that both miss.
Lee fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Danga de danga de dang - Lee scores with a four punch combination!
Pv is breathing heavily.
No joy there for Lee, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Some wild striking there from Lee.

Pv shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Pv showed some decent athleticism there.
Lee wants to get back to his feet.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Pv decides to stand up.
Pv darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Lee throws a right and a left that both miss.

Pv scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
You can see the frustration on Lee's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Lee wants to get back to his feet but Pv drags him back down.

Lee throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
Pv avoids a punch combination nicely.
Lee fails in his attempt to clinch.
Lee doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Pv counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Lee is staying active underneath Pv, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Lee moves into full guard.
Pv looking to pass the guard.

Lee can't keep his opponent in guard - Pv advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Pv frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Pv tries to control but Lee wriggling away.
Pv lands a heavy elbow.
Pv wants to control the pace but Lee is squirming around nicely.
Lee really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Pv postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Lee looks a forlorn figure.
Pv controlling from the full mount.

Lee holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Pv tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Pv seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Lee is holding on tight.
Pv looking to ground and pound but Lee is blocking nicely.

Pv goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Lee is on top in guard.
Lee stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Pv swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Pv looking to hit a scissor sweep but Lee is one step ahead there.
Pv working a defensive guard here.

That's five minutes gone in the round.
Pv looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Pv bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Lee's guard.
Pv slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Lee is working to avoid the ground and pound but Pv connects with a decent elbow.

Pv decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Lee gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Pv decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Lee throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

That's six minutes gone in the round.
Lee throws an overhand right that has Pv reeling! Lee follows up with a more punches and Pv is out cold! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 6:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Chuck Lee!
