Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tadayoshi Ishimaru (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Merle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Merle's choice of entrance music: "Ladies and Gentleman" by Saliva. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Shigeki Sano and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ishimaru misses with an uppercut
and Merle counters with a stiff right hand.
Merle paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Ishimaru throws a lazy uppercut
and Merle counters with a nice kick to the body.
Ishimaru throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Merle counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Ishimaru thinking.
Ishimaru doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Merle counters with a two punch combo.
Merle will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Ishimaru misses with a lunging right hand
and Merle counters with a head kick. That will keep Ishimaru thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Merle lands a nice looking kick to the body. Ishimaru takes a step back to recover.

Ishimaru falls off balance throwing a combination
and Merle counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
A left lands for Merle.
Ishimaru seems to have got his legs back now.
Ishimaru swings widly with a right hand
and Merle counters with a nice body kick.
Ishimaru doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Merle makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Ishimaru really felt that one!
Merle thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Ishimaru if he has to take too many more of those.
Ishimaru takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Merle connects with a high kick.
It looks like Tadayoshi Ishimaru has been cut.
Ishimaru closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Merle throws a quick head kick that knocks Ishimaru silly! This fight is all over! What a finish! Merle is up on the cage, taking in the applause from the crowd.
