Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Koji Masunari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rob Bugasto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Koji Masunari! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rob Bugasto! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Masunari takes a swing at Bugasto's ribcage but misses. Bugasto throws the left hand but Masunari avoids the punch easily. Masunari avoids the body shot from Bugasto.
Bugasto missing with a left hand there. Masunari was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Bugasto misses with a left hand and Masunari counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Bugasto jabs Masunari to the body, keeping him at a distance. Masunari moves into the clinch successfully.

Masunari drags the fight down to the ground.
Masunari wants to sweep here but Bugasto controlling him for the moment. Bugasto has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Masunari is proving hard to escape from. Masunari is trying to control the position from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bugasto got a little sloppy there for a moment and Masunari has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bugasto has managed to get both his arms back between Masunari's legs - danger averted. Bugasto tries to stand but Masunari is controlling from the bottom. Bugasto must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Masunari is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Bugasto is aware though and is defending well. Masunari is trying to keep Bugasto in close.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Masunari working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bugasto doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bugasto manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Bugasto wants to get up but he can't break Masunari's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Masunari is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Masunari looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Masunari has his foot on Bugasto's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bugasto works his way back into a safe position though. Bugasto is looking to stand up but Masunari won't let him. Masunari looking to hit a scissor sweep but Bugasto is one step ahead there. Masunari pulls Bugasto in close to his closed guard and prevents Bugasto from doing any damage or advancing position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Masunari looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Bugasto really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Masunari. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Masunari is trying to control the position but Bugasto postures up. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Masunari takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Bugasto misses with a hook
and Masunari counters with a slapping leg kick. Bugasto misses with an uppercut. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Koji Masunari dominated that round. That's time! Masunari's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Jab, jab by Bugasto - just one landing. Masunari takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Bugasto throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Bugasto throws a leg kick and Masunari counters with a body kick that stops Bugasto in his tracks momentarily. The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. Masunari cracks Bugasto with a good jab. Bugasto throws a lazy uppercut
and Masunari counters with a slapping leg kick. Bugasto swings widly with a right hand
and Masunari counters with a flying knee. Nice. Masunari moves into the clinch. Masunari breaks the clinch.
Masunari connects with a leg kick. Bugasto looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Masunari dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Bugasto. That did some damage! Bugasto misses with a straight right. Bugasto throws an off balance right hand
and Masunari counters with a big head kick but Bugasto shrugs it off. Bugasto misses with a right hand and Masunari counters with a head kick. That will keep Bugasto thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Masunari lunges at Bugasto with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Bugasto's hand.
Bugasto is rocked! Bugasto wants to stay close but Masunari steps back to make room for something. Bugasto seems frozen to the spot and bam! huge swing of the leg from Masunari and Bugasto drops like he has been shot! A huge head kick and it's all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:52 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Koji Masunari!
