Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jon The Blanket (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Murphy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jon The Blanket! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alex Murphy! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Stewart Dunkirk and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Murphy fails in his attempt to clinch. The Blanket shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Murphy as he avoids it easily. The Blanket shoots in looking for a takedown. Murphy tries to sprawl out of it but The Blanket keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Murphy manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. The Blanket fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Murphy to the ground. The Blanket is now in Murphy's guard. Murphy controls The Blanket momentarily but The Blanket frees himself. Murphy working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from The Blanket. The Blanket stopping the sweep attempt from Murphy. Murphy wants to get back to his feet but The Blanket is in a dominant position and won't allow it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Murphy keeping moving, preventing The Blanket from controlling successfully. Murphy is trying to control the position from the bottom.

That's one minute gone in the round. Murphy keeping full guard, as The Blanket tries to pass. The Blanket lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. The Blanket lands a couple of decent looking shots. Murphy has momentary wrist control but The Blanket slips an elbow through the middle. The Blanket might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The Blanket advances to half guard. Murphy wants to control but The Blanket is keeping busy and won't allow it. Murphy looks gassed! The Blanket takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. The Blanket works his foot free and advances to mount. The Blanket raining down hammerfists from mount. The Blanket working away from the top, dropping strikes.
Murphy is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! The Blanket postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Murphy bigstyle! Two more strikes land for The Blanket and the fight is over!
