The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aldo moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
It looks like Antonio Jose Da Silva has been cut.
Da Silva fails to land the takedown.
Da Silva has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Aldo .
Da Silva tries to score a power double leg takedown but Aldo sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Da Silva somewhat.
Da Silva shoots for a double leg takedown but Aldo sprawls well. He's pushed Da Silva's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Antonio Jose Da Silva. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Crunch! Aldo slams his shin into Da Silva's torso.
Da Silva is breathing heavily.

Aldo grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Da Silva takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Aldo cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
