The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schmeck bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Schmeck shoots in and gets a takedown into From Down Under's guard.
Schmeck looking to pass the guard.
Schmeck wants to control from the top but From Down Under keeps moving.
Schmeck has gone for a leg lock! From Down Under slips out almost immediately though and dives into Schmeck's guard.
From Down Under trying to control the position from guard on top but Schmeck is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

From Down Under with a flurry of punches that miss.
Schmeck looking for a guillotine here but From Down Under defends easily.
Schmeck manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Schmeck looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Schmeck takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. From Down Under looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Schmeck! Submission of the night perhaps?
