The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Edwards gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Williams.
Edwards thuds his right hand into Williams's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Williams gets tackled into the cage by Edwards. Edwards maintains the clinch.
Williams tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Edwards avoids it.

Williams is pressed up against the cage. Edwards has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Williams down to the mat. Williams avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Edwards shoots in looking for a takedown. Williams tries to sprawl out of it but Edwards keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Williams manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Williams throws the left hand but Edwards avoids the punch easily.
Edwards misses with a low kick as Williams jumps back.
Nathan Edwards seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Edwards looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
