Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nick Pederson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mohammed Ul Haq (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pederson's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Avenged Sevenfold - Natural Born Killer. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ul Haq lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Pederson at a distance.
A jab lands there for Ul Haq.
Ul Haq fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Pederson has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Pederson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Ul Haq swivels and escapes.
Ul Haq slips a jab and a cross from Pederson.
Ul Haq tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Pederson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Ul Haq stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Pederson swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Ul Haq closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Pederson to the mat! Pederson manages to get full guard.
