Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eric Kofhal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Ituano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Eric Kofhal! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Marcus Ituano! The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Paulo Santos and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kofhal stuns Ituano with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Marcus Ituano seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ituano keeps the fight on the outside. Kofhal avoids the head kick by Ituano.
Ituano circles away from the clinch attempt.
Kofhal shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Kofhal was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kofhal in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Ituano is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Kofhal working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Ituano tries to buck Kofhal off but he can't manage it. Kofhal looking to control but Ituano is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Ituano is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Ituano looks gassed! Kofhal takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Kofhal can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Ituano is looking to escape.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kofhal is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Ituano is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Ituano is trying to stand. Ituano is squirming around, avoiding Kofhal's attempts to control the action. Kofhal landing shots from mount. Kofhal putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Ituano is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. Kofhal lands a big elbow.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Ituano is trying to stand. Kofhal looking to control but Ituano is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Kofhal looking to control and managing it successfully.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Eric Kofhal just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Ituano avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Kofhal shoots in but no luck this time. Kofhal blocks a head kick by Ituano.
Kofhal throws a one two combo.
Ituano throws a head kick that misses. Kofhal will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Kofhal could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Ituano throws a sloppy head kick and Kofhal moves out of range easily. Kofhal doesn't manage to clinch there - Ituano circles away.
Kofhal rushes Ituano and presses him up against the cage. Kofhal keeps control of Ituano as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Ituano can't break the clinch.
Kofhal is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Kofhal looking to stall.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ituano breaks the clinch.
Kofhal tries to clinch there but Ituano circles away.
Kofhal drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Ituano tries to escape but Kofhal is in control. Ituano takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Kofhal is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Ituano is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Ituano is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Ituano is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Kofhal asserts his dominance and retains side control. Ituano sneaks out the side door and pushes Kofhal away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. Kofhal looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Eric Kofhal. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ituano swats away the attempt to clinch by Kofhal.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ituano stuffs the takedown. Kofhal fails miserably with a takedown attempt. No luck for Kofhal with that takedown attempt. Ituano throws a head kick that misses. Ituano misses with a head kick.
Kofhal misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Ituano lands a head kick. Kofhal smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Kofhal gets a clinch. Ituano wants to break the clinch but can't.

Kofhal ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Kofhal no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Kofhal lands a good elbow from the bottom. Kofhal working for a triangle but Ituano defends it easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ituano stopping the sweep attempt from Kofhal. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Eric Kofhal dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Kofhal shoots for a takedown but Ituano saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. No luck for Kofhal with that takedown attempt. Kofhal tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Kofhal gets a takedown into half guard. Ituano is refusing to be controlled, as Kofhal sits in half guard. Ituano tries to kick Kofhal off but Kofhal keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Kofhal working Ituano over with strikes. Ituano pushes Kofhal off and gets back to his feet. Kofhal throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Kofhal lands with a thumping leg kick.
Kofhal ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Kofhal looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Kofhal would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ituano wriggles free and stands up. Ituano stuffs the takedown attempt from Kofhal. Kofhal gets slowly back to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Eric Kofhal. That's going to take a lot out of him. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kofhal. Kofhal shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Ituano throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Marcus Ituano is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Kofhal shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Eric Kofhal is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Ituano tries a head kick but it misses.
Nice sprawl there from Ituano as Kofhal shoots in. Whack! Ituano lands a heavy head kick that drops Kofhal. The ref tackles Ituano to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Kofhal was done.
