Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eric Kofhal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Ituano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Eric Kofhal!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Marcus Ituano!
The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Paulo Santos and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kofhal stuns Ituano with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Marcus Ituano seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ituano keeps the fight on the outside.
Kofhal avoids the head kick by Ituano.
Ituano circles away from the clinch attempt.
Kofhal shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Kofhal was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kofhal drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Kofhal is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Ituano is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Ituano sneaks out the side door and pushes Kofhal away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Kofhal ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Kofhal no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ituano stopping the sweep attempt from Kofhal.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Kofhal shoots for a takedown but Ituano saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
