Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gaviao da Fiel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dennis Olav (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). da Fiel comes to the cage accompanied by Bando de Loco. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Olav avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
da Fiel connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
da Fiel fails in his attempt to clinch.
da Fiel blocks a head kick by Olav.
da Fiel tries a head kick but it misses.
Olav tries to close the distance and clinch up but da Fiel swats him away and circles back towards the center.

and Olav counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Olav decides to stand and escape the position.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Olav stops da Fiel from standing up.
Olav drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Olav jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Olav won't allow da Fiel to get back to his feet.
Olav is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Olav prevents da Fiel from getting back to his feet.
Olav is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Olav loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Olav stands up from da Fiel's guard - Olav perhaps looking for a knockout.
da Fiel has closed the distance and engaged Olav in a clinch.
Olav fails to pull guard.
da Fiel escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

da Fiel closes the distance but Olav moves to the side
and Olav decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in da Fiel's guard.
da Fiel is breathing heavily.
Olav decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on da Fiel, up you get!
da Fiel clinches but Olav breaks the clinch
and Olav counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Olav.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Olav passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Olav is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but da Fiel is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Olav tries for a kimura but da Fiel is defending well.

Olav takes a little break here. da Fiel wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Olav is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. da Fiel is trying to escape and Olav transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and da Fiel is forced to tap! Nice work there by Olav! Very nice indeed!
