Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ken Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Lesnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Ken Anderson has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ken Anderson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jason Lesnar!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Damien Edna and Steve Erwin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson throws a head kick but Lesnar moves out of range.
Lesnar is looking to clinch.
Anderson shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Lesnar decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Anderson's guard.
Anderson preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Lesnar prevents Anderson from getting back to his feet.
Lesnar trying to control the position from guard on top but Anderson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Anderson looking for a guillotine here but Lesnar defends easily.
Lesnar wants to control from the top but Anderson keeps moving.
Lesnar is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Lesnar works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Anderson is trying to control but can't.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lesnar content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Lesnar is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Anderson!
Lesnar breaks from Anderson's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Anderson reaches up to try and control the position but Lesnar seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Anderson rolls and tries to escape and now Lesnar has his back!
Lesnar throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch.

Lesnar really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Anderson.
Anderson staying busy and making it hard for Lesnar to control.
Anderson is trying to get back to his feet but Lesnar has full control of the position and if anything, Anderson has just worked his way into a worse spot.
Lesnar lands with a big left hand that may well have hurt his opponent. Can Anderson hold on?!

Anderson is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
You can see the frustration on Anderson's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Anderson tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
Lesnar with shots to the head and body - Anderson looks very uncomfortable down there.

Lesnar get's back to his feet.

Lesnar closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Anderson quickly recovers to half guard.
Anderson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Lesnar seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Anderson is trying to get back to full guard.
Anderson on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Anderson tries to get out of the position.
Lesnar wants to take a breather but Anderson is having none of it.
Lesnar looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Anderson wants to get back to his feet.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Jason Lesnar hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Lesnar tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Anderson was well out of range. Poor timing from Lesnar.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Lesnar gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Anderson counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jason Lesnar dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Lesnar tries to close the distance and clinch but Anderson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Anderson shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Lesnar defends it nicely.
Lesnar takes a swing at Anderson's ribcage but misses.

Anderson tries to sprawl but Lesnar drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Anderson wants to control but Lesnar is keeping busy.
Lesnar wants to take a breather but Anderson is having none of it.
Jason Lesnar has got the better of the ground game so far.

Lesnar stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Lesnar shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Anderson defends it nicely.

Lesnar throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Anderson sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Lesnar doesn't manage to clinch there - Anderson circles away.
Anderson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Lesnar swats away the attempt to clinch by Anderson.

Lesnar clinches up with Anderson and pushes him back against the cage.

Lesnar's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Anderson drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Lesnar is trying to improve his position.

Lesnar struggling a bit here.
Lesnar sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Anderson has decided to stand back up but his arm is trapped. Whilst he's worrying about his arm, Lesnar works to full guard.

Lesnar not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Anderson wants to pass the guard but Lesnar is keeping the position.

Anderson works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Anderson throws a strike but Lesnar avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
Anderson trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Lesnar looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Anderson trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Lesnar tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Lesnar kicks Anderson off and gets to his feet.
Anderson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lesnar as he jumps to the side.
A looping hook to the body misses from Anderson. Lesnar does a little dance to reset his feet.

Lesnar doesn't manage to clinch there - Anderson circles away.

Anderson shoots in and gets a takedown into Lesnar's guard.
Lesnar is adopting a defensive guard.

Anderson looking to sit in guard and control but Lesnar gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Lesnar wants to control from the top but Anderson keeps moving.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Jason Lesnar will probably get the nod - 10:9.
That's time! Back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!



Lesnar shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Anderson napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Lesnar is looking to take a break and control but Anderson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Anderson pushes Lesnar away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Lesnar gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Lesnar decides to stand back up. Lesnar steps back and let's Anderson get back to his feet.
Lesnar looks for a takedown but Anderson sprawls well.
Anderson fails with the takedown

and Lesnar counters with a nice double leg into side control. Anderson won't be happy with that.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Lesnar decides to stand back up. Lesnar steps back and let's Anderson get back to his feet.
Lesnar shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Anderson eats them both and turns towards Lesnar to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Anderson tries to clinch there but Lesnar circles away.
Lesnar fails in his attempt to clinch.
Anderson doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Lesnar counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Anderson successfully pulls guard.
Lesnar controlling from the top position.
Anderson keeping moving, preventing Lesnar from controlling successfully.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Lesnar is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Lesnar wants to lay and pray for a moment but Anderson keeps working.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Lesnar lands a nice short elbow.
Lesnar is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Let's hope that Lesnar has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Anderson wants to control the action here but instead Lesnar manages to pass to full mount!
Anderson is in all sorts of trouble here.

Anderson is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Lesnar has taken his back.
Lesnar throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Anderson!
Lesnar controlling the position well here. Anderson rolled but Lesnar kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
Lesnar lands punches and elbows.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Lesnar is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
Ken Anderson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Jason Lesnar is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Lesnar punishes Anderson with strikes from the back mount.

Jason Lesnar comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Lesnar has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
