Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Konstantin Tszyu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bu Laia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tszyu comes to the cage accompanied by System of a Down - Toxicity. Laia is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: ""E Ala E" by Israel Kamakawiwo'ole. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

20 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bu Laia!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Winston Howard and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laia misses with an attempted mid kick.
Tszyu throws a body punch but Laia moves out of range.
Tszyu checks a leg kick nicely.
Bu Laia seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Laia lands with a thumping leg kick.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
A low kick from Tszyu misses
and Laia counters with a body kick that stops Tszyu in his tracks momentarily.
Tszyu moves out of range as Laia strikes.
Laia throws a poor cross that misses
and Tszyu counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Konstantin Tszyu is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Laia attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.

and Tszyu counters with a left to the body.
The crowd cheers as Tszyu lands an impressive looking overhand right. Laia doesn't seem phased though.
That kick from Laia tenderised Tszyu's leg. Tszyu is trying to keep his angry face on.

Laia shoots in looking for a takedown. Tszyu tries to sprawl out of it but Laia keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Tszyu manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Tszyu misses with a leg kick.

and Tszyu counters with a right hand to the body.

Laia decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Tszyu wants to control but Laia is keeping busy.
Laia thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Tszyu to regain full guard.
Tszyu keeping moving, preventing Laia from controlling successfully.
Laia tries to free his leg and advance position but Tszyu is retaining full guard.
Laia not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Tszyu is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Laia drops back, looking for a kneebar! Tszyu looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Tszyu looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Tszyu!

enabling Tszyu to counter with a crisp jab.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tszyu thuds his right hand into Laia's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Tszyu throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Tszyu walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Laia checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Nice defenses there by Laia.
Laia misses with an uppercut
and Tszyu counters with an inside leg kick.
Laia pivots, looking for a leg kick but Tszyu is out of range and Laia settles back down.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
A head kick by Laia misses
and Tszyu counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Laia throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Laia misses with a low kick.
Laia swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Tszyu counters with a nice body shot.
Laia tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Tszyu manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Laia lands a leg kick that knocks Tszyu off balance momentarily.
Tszyu throws a jab when Laia was well out of range.
Laia rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Tszyu counters with a stiff right hand.
Laia misses with a leg kick
and Tszyu counters with a slapping leg kick.

Laia falls off balance throwing a combination
letting Tszyu counter with a right hand.
Laia throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
A low kick from Laia is predictable there
and Tszyu counters with a left to the body.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Laia misses with a leg kick
and Laia takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Konstantin Tszyu dominated that second round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Laia throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Laia throws a front kick aimed at Tszyu's knee but Tszyu avoids it well.
Tszyu checks the leg kick nicely there.
Tszyu connects with a body shot that sends Laia's belly button to the back.

Laia tries to land a front kick but Tszyu steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Laia thows a leg kick but Tszyu checks it
and Tszyu counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Laia throws an ugly left hook that misses
enabling Tszyu to counter with a crisp jab.
Laia throws a leg kick but Tszyu moved away.
Laia dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Tszyu. That did some damage!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Konstantin Tszyu.
I think Tszyu has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
