Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Julian Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chairman Mao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chairman Mao will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Julian Sanchez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Chairman Mao! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Sosuke Kotani and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sanchez misses with a takedown attempt - Mao sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Mao slips a jab and a cross from Sanchez.
Sanchez could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Mao takes a shot right to the bread basket. Mao moves in looking to clinch but Sanchez pushes him off. Mao moves into the clinch successfully.
Sanchez breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Sanchez has closed the distance and engaged Mao in a clinch.
Mao is trying to break free. Mao is trying to break free. Sanchez keeps control of Mao as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Mao wants to break the clinch but can't.

A combination from Mao does no damage. Sanchez tries to clinch up but Mao circles away and keeps his distance. Sanchez gets in close and instigates a clinch. Mao prevents a takedown attempt there.
Mao wants to get back to striking at distance but Sanchez won't allow it.
Sanchez breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Mao throws a right and a left that Sanchez avoids nicely. Sanchez throws a sloppy head kick and Mao moves out of range easily. Mao wants to clinch. Chairman Mao seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sanchez gets a clinch. Mao throws a head punch that misses. Sanchez breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Sanchez has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
That's one minute gone in the round. A combination from Mao does no damage. Mao connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Sanchez is rocked! Mao fails to land with a series of punches.
Oh Sanchez is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! No joy there for Mao, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Mao looks gassed! The fight stays on the outside here - Sanchez looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Mao throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Sanchez holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Sanchez changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Mao fights it off and pushes away nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Julian Sanchez. That's going to take a lot out of him. Mao tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Sanchez paws at him with a jab and circles away. Sanchez seems to have got his legs back now. Mao looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Sanchez avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Sanchez throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Mao takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Sanchez fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Chairman Mao is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Sanchez closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Mao to the mat! Mao manages to get full guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Mao is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Sanchez is controlling him. Mao is working an open guard so Sanchez takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Mao is looking to clinch but Sanchez is avoiding it.

Sanchez looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Sanchez keeps the fight on the outside. Sanchez looks for the body kick but Mao saw that one coming. Sanchez showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Mao.

Sanchez shoots in for a takedown but Mao shows good takedown defense. Mao wants to clinch. Mao misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Mao throws a combination that misses and Sanchez counters with a takedown into side control. Mao really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sanchez. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Mao is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Sanchez lands a nice forearm strike. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sanchez works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Sanchez is looking to take a break and control but Mao is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Mao tries to get back to half guard but can't. Sanchez working the head and body with strikes. Sanchez stands up. Sanchez keeps the fight on the outside.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sanchez rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Mao moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Sanchez looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Mao swings away with a leg kick that misses. Mao avoids the head kick by Sanchez.
Mao swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Mao throws a one two combo.
Sanchez throws a combination. Mao tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Mao closes the distance looking to clinch and Sanchez counters with a single leg into guard. Mao didn't expect that. Mao is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Sanchez is working Mao over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Sanchez postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Mao wants to stand but Sanchez is controlling the position. Sanchez decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Mao fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Mao throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Sanchez clinches up against the cage. Mao is trying to break free. Sanchez ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Sanchez no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Sanchez manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Mao manages to get himself to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sanchez advances position into side control! Sanchez decides to take the fight back to the feet. Sanchez tries to close the distance and clinch but Mao swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Mao throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Sanchez. Sanchez throws a head kick that misses. Sanchez bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Sanchez lands a few punches from side control. Mao throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! Mao throws a right and a left that both miss. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Mao drops Sanchez with a right and a left! Mao comes rushing in but Sanchez regains his composure and manages to keep Mao in guard.
It looks like Julian Sanchez has been cut. Mao has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Sanchez is proving hard to escape from. Mao must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mao is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Sanchez hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
