Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Donovan Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Slider Sleuth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Donovan Smith!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Slider Sleuth!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Tiny Johnson and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith jabs Sleuth right on the nose. Sleuth blinks but takes it well.
Smith throws a series of punches but Sleuth moves out of range.
Smith throws a good cross that connects.
Smith lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Smith connects with a good right hand that stumbles Sleuth. Sleuth circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Sleuth tries to work over Smith's front leg with a kick but Smith checks it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sleuth on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Smith goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Sleuth ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Smith with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Smith could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Smith paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Sleuth tries to close the distance and clinch up but Smith swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Sleuth swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Smith cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Smith connects with a right hand. Sleuth shakes it off.
Sleuth tries to clinch up.
Sleuth with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Smith to score with a decent uppercut.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Sleuth takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Sleuth walks into a jab.
Smith scores with a sloppy right hand. Sleuth should have avoided that one.
Smith moves into range and connects with a jab.
Sleuth throws a lazy uppercut
and Smith counters with a one-two to the body.
Sleuth throws the kick towards the body but Smith avoids it.
Nice straight punches there by Smith. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Smith.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Sleuth takes a jab right on the kisser.
Donovan Smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sleuth takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Smith connects with a good right hand that stumbles Sleuth. Sleuth circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Sleuth takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Sleuth bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Smith is rocked!
Sleuth crunches a massive hammerfist down on Smith - he's out! Sleuth Holds back on further strikes and jumps to his feet to celebrate with the crowd!
