The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maxwell bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Leukakoukku's head backwards.
Leukakoukku keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Maxwell throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Leukakoukku.
Maxwell swings widly with a right hand
and Leukakoukku holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Leukakoukku tries to pull guard but Maxwell won't allow it.
Leukakoukku fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Maxwell is fighting off a takedown attempt but Leukakoukku is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Maxwell to the mat. Maxwell regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Leukakoukku trying to control but Maxwell is working from the bottom.
Maxwell looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Leukakoukku wants to control from the top but Maxwell keeps moving.
Leukakoukku wants to pass the guard but Maxwell is keeping the position.

Maxwell is trying to reverse the position but instead Leukakoukku has taken his back - oops!
Maxwell won't enjoy being in this position. Leukakoukku looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Maxwell is tapping - it's over boys! Leukakoukku picks up the submission victory!
