Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Saam Ante and Paul Aken.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dias scores with a shot to the body.
Dick takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Sloppy strikes from Dias. Those never looked like landing.
Dias scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Dias lands with an uppercut that bounces Dick off the cage and back into rage.

Dick drives through with a takedown into Dias's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Dick thows a big elbow that misses.
Dick wants to pass the guard but Dias is keeping the position.
Dick wants to control from the top but Dias keeps moving.
Dias wants to stand up but Dick is controlling him.

Dick drops back looking for a leg! Dias is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Dias manages to kick Dick off! Dick jumps back into Dias's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Dick throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Dias works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Dick missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Dick postures up in Dias's guard and throws a big left but Dias blocks it.
Dick sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Dick has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Dick accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Dick slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Dick is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Dias is trying to escape and Dick transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Dias is forced to tap! Nice work there by Dick! Very nice indeed!
