The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maia loads up on a big right hand but Larsson slips the punch.
Larsson stuffs the takedown.
Larsson misses the jab.
That kick from Larsson tenderised Maia's leg. Maia is trying to keep his angry face on.
Maia scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A low kick from Maia misses
and Larsson makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Maia looks gassed!
Maia shoots for a takedown but Larsson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Larsson and Maia are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Larsson throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Maia into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Larsson knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.
