Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Garth Fourie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Rob Dexter!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Donald Grub and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dexter moves to clinch but Fourie breaks away
and Fourie counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Dexter is trying to get back to full guard.
Dexter tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Fourie manages to move to mount!
Fourie content just to control the position here.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
We're going to have a standup here because Garth Fourie wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Fourie has managed to clinch.
Dexter is working for takedown but Fourie is calmly controlling the position for now.
Dexter tries to circle away but Fourie has him pinned against the cage.

and Fourie decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Dexter's guard.

Fourie is trying to trip Dexter. He has hold of a leg but Dexter is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Fourie persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Garth Fourie is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Fourie, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
