Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chuck Liddell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aaron Windham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Chuck Liddell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Aaron Windham! The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Steve Erwin and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Liddell fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Liddell tries to sprawl but Windham drives through with a takedown into half guard. Liddell looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Windham controlling the action here. Liddell really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Liddell is looking for a sweep. Windham is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Liddell is pressing down on Windham's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Windham wants to control from the top but Liddell keeps moving.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Aaron Windham hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Windham misses with a looping left.
That's one minute gone in the round. Windham walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Windham uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Liddell.
Liddell tries a head kick but it misses.
Liddell darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Windham looking to score a takedown here. Liddell is defending well but Windham drives through and ends up in Liddell's guard. Windham postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Windham is pushing down on Liddell's leg trying to pass to half guard. Liddell is fighting to maintain full guard but Windham has managed to sneak the leg through. Still in half guard, Windham seems content to control. Windham wants to take a breather but Liddell is having none of it. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Windham controlling the pace. Windham moves into side control, avoiding the strikes from Liddell.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Liddell is trying to improve his position. Liddell manages to work his way to half guard, despite Windham's best efforts. Windham is looking to take a break and control but Liddell is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Liddell is looking to improve his position.
Liddell is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Windham pulls his head out easily. Liddell is looking for a sweep. Windham is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Liddell is working hard here to advance position. Still in half guard, Windham seems content to control. Windham's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Liddell is looking for a sweep. Windham is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Liddell misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Windham content to control rather than advance.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Aaron Windham hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Liddell swats away the attempt to clinch by Windham.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Windham takes a body punch but keeps moving. Windham looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Liddell thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Windham wants to control from the top but Liddell keeps moving. Liddell has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Windham can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Windham stands and throws Liddell's legs to the side, diving into side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Aaron Windham dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Windham takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Liddell shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Liddell was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Windham wants to control but Liddell is having none of it. Windham sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Windham is pressing down on Liddell's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Liddell throwing strikes but missing. Windham looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Windham keeping full guard, as Liddell tries to pass. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Windham pulls Liddell in close to his closed guard and prevents Liddell from doing any damage or advancing position. Liddell has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
That's one minute gone in the round. Windham avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Windham working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Liddell. Liddell will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Windham not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Aaron Windham wasn't active enough on the ground. Windham scores with a takedown into Liddell's guard. Liddell is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Liddell wants to hit a switch here but Windham passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Liddell there! Liddell working to try and regain half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Windham controlling from mount. Windham breaks from Liddell's wrist control and lands an elbow. Liddell really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Windham wants to control the pace but Liddell is squirming around nicely. Liddell is desperately trying to improve his position but Windham has a good base and remains in mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Windham looking to control but Liddell is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Windham prevents Liddell from getting the reversal. Windham trying to control but he's not successful this time. Windham controlling from the full mount. Windham trying to control but Liddell is having none of it. Windham controlling the position easily from mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Aaron Windham wasn't active enough on the ground. Liddell fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Windham manages to avoid it. Liddell with a jab. Liddell shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Windham's guard. Windham manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Liddell manages to get himself to full guard.
This has been an exciting period of action! Windham wants to pass the guard but Liddell is keeping the position. Windham is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Windham wants to pass the guard but Liddell is keeping the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Aaron Windham showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Liddell's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Liddell connects with a body shot that sends Windham's belly button to the back. Windham closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Liddell did well to prevent Windham getting side control. Liddell moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Liddell has an active guard here but Windham has managed to pass into half guard.

We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Liddell tries to get out of the position. Liddell wants to get back to full guard. Windham tries to pass to full mount but Liddell defends it. Windham keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Windham working over Liddell with some ground and pound. Liddell looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Windham is keen to just control but Liddell is a slippery customer. Liddell gets full guard. Liddell looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Windham passes into side control.
Windham connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Liddell some visible discomfort.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Windham is looking to take a break and control but Liddell is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Windham in side control, just content to control the action for now. Liddell prevents Windham from moving into mount. Liddell is trying to work for a sweep but Windham has mounted him!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Windham wants to control the pace but Liddell is squirming around nicely. Liddell is looking to get to half guard. Windham jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Liddell manages to avoid the submission attempt. Liddell prevents Windham from moving into mount. Windham trying to control the position but Liddell is working away. Liddell is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Windham asserts his dominance and retains side control. Aaron Windham is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Windham trying to control the action but Liddell is working from the bottom. Windham might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Liddell kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Chuck Liddell has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
And that's the end of the fight! Aaron Windham comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Windham winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
