The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crash circles away from the clinch attempt
and Crash counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Crash is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Crash lands a couple of elbows.
Crash scoring with punches to the head and body.
Crash content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Crash takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Crash keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Crash lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Dane quite badly. Dane pulls Crash in close trying to recover. Crash postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Dane on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Dane doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:01 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Snow Crash!
