Insano has chosen Insano Laugh as his entrance music. Captain Insano is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Captain Insano!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Steve Erwin and John Mangel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tatsuhiko Jr shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Insano pinned against the cage. Insano gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Insano slaps away a takedown attempt from Tatsuhiko Jr, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Tatsuhiko Jr takes a head kick and keeps coming.


It looks like Akihito Tatsuhiko Jr has been cut.

Tatsuhiko Jr closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Insano's guard.
Tatsuhiko Jr thows a big elbow that misses.
Tatsuhiko Jr trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Tatsuhiko Jr postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Tatsuhiko Jr postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Insano can do anything to dispel that myth.
Insano is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Tatsuhiko Jr throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Insano works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Insano looking to control.

Insano escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Tatsuhiko Jr gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Tatsuhiko Jr passes Insano's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Insano works his way to full guard. Good work.

Tatsuhiko Jr in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Tatsuhiko Jr slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Insano is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Tatsuhiko Jr makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Insano looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Insano wants to sweep here but Tatsuhiko Jr controlling him for the moment.
Insano has Tatsuhiko Jr pulled in close to control his posture.
Tatsuhiko Jr trying to control the position from guard on top but Insano is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Insano is pushing Tatsuhiko Jr's head away, looking to escape. Tatsuhiko Jr manages to hold on to the position though.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Insano tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Insano takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Tatsuhiko Jr lands some shots froms side control.
Tatsuhiko Jr landing a few strikes.
Tatsuhiko Jr grinds an elbow into Insano's temple.
Insano tries to bench press Tatsuhiko Jr off him but Tatsuhiko Jr keeps the position.
Insano on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Tatsuhiko Jr landing strikes.

Tatsuhiko Jr is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Insano has escaped the position, nice work there.
Tatsuhiko Jr in side control lands a decent elbow.


Insano is rocked!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Tatsuhiko Jr cracks Insano with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Insano is still in real trouble! Can Tatsuhiko Jr finish him?
Insano tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Insano really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tatsuhiko Jr. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Tatsuhiko Jr is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Insano has escaped the position, nice work there.
Insano is trying to improve his position.
Insano can't do much from the bottom here.

Tatsuhiko Jr is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Tatsuhiko Jr in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Tatsuhiko Jr scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Insano is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Tatsuhiko Jr can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
