Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kyosuke Shingure (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Derek Monke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kyosuke Shingure! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Derek Monke! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Hirohito Nitta and Yukihiro Shimada.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Some wild striking there from Shingure.
Monke avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Shingure fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Shingure showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Monke.
Monke gets the takedown into side control. Shingure is trying to get back to his feet. Monke lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Shingure down.
Monke scoring with punches and elbows. Shingure defending against the ground and pound. Shingure is looking for a sweep. Monke tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Monke misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Monke looks gassed! Shingure tries to improve position but can't. Monke working the body and head with strikes. Shingure wants to control but Monke postures up.
 That's one minute gone in the round.
 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Both fighters circling a little - Shingure finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Shingure thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Monke if he has to take too many more of those.
Nice body kick there by Shingure. Shingure misses with a two punch combination.
Monke gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Monke turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! An elbow from Monke crashes against the mat.
Monke misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Monke wants to lay and pray for a moment but Shingure keeps working. The ground and pound from Monke seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Monke tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Monke trying to control the action but Shingure is working from the bottom. Shingure tries to escape but Monke is in control.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Monke lands an elbow. Shingure is looking for a sweep.
 Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Shingure dodges the punch combination from Monke.
Shingure falls off balance throwing a combination
and Monke counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Shingure looks like he's trying to stand up.
Monke tries to pass to full mount but Shingure defends it. Shingure slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Monke throwing strikes from guard but Shingure blocks nicely. Monke postures up and lands a big shot to Shingure's brow. Monke wants to control from the top but Shingure keeps moving.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Monke content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Shingure working a defensive guard here.
Monke throws a sloppy strike and Shingure has hooked up an armbar on the loose arm! He's turned and extended fully! Monke is forced to tap! Great BJJ from Shingure!
