Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Nacho Grande!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tor The Hammer!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Winston Howard and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grande shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Grande throws a right and a left that The Hammer avoids nicely.
The Hammer connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Grande's hands.
The Hammer cracks Grande with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. The Hammer has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Grande to stand back up!
Grande is rocked!
Grande misses with a wild combination.
Oh Grande is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
The Hammer tried to score with a low kick but Grande checks it.
The Hammer thuds a left hand into Grande's body.
Grande seems to have got his legs back now.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The Hammer moves out of range as Grande strikes.
The Hammer drops Grande with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Grande looks back up at him and smiles so The Hammer waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
The Hammer defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Grande.
Grande leaves his chin hanging out and The Hammer seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Grande crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Tor The Hammer!
