And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ante Gotovina!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Albert Achterberg and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gotovina drops his hands momentarily and Hernando takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Gotovina looks to clinch
and Hernando counters with a stiff right hand.
Gotovina wants to clinch
and Hernando holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Hernando using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
Hernando's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Gotovina tries to clinch but Hernando moves away
and Hernando counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Hernando.
Gotovina tries to land knees in the clinch but Hernando avoids the damage to the body.
Gotovina with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Hernando's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Gotovina tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Hernando counters with an outside leg kick.
Gotovina tries to clinch but Hernando moves away
and Hernando counters with a nice uppercut.
That kick from Hernando tenderised Gotovina's leg. Gotovina is trying to keep his angry face on.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hernando lands a big head kick that sends Gotovina tumbling to the mat! Hernando takes a step backwards and waves Gotovina back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Gotovina is rocked!
It looks like Ante Gotovina has been cut.
Ante Gotovina seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gotovina tries to clinch up
and Hernando counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Gotovina looks gassed!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Hernando takes the fight into the clinch.

Hernando manages to break the clinch.
Hernando lands a left and a right that send Gotovina crashing to the mat, dazed. Hernando thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Hernando closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Gotovina out cold! Gotovina corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.
