The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A chopping leg kick lands by Bigballzovic.
Vladimir Bigballzovic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lindland tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Bigballzovic throws a sloppy head kick and Lindland moves out of range easily.

Lindland has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Bigballzovic throws a head kick that Lindland semi-blocks.

Bigballzovic fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Lindland, pushing him back against the cage.
