Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chuck Finley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nakamura Torres (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Torres has chosen Kill Bill Theme song as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Nakamura Torres told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Lou da Vinci and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Torres throws a sloppy head kick
and Finley counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Finley.
Finley is trying to force a seperation but Torres has the dominant position.
Finley using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Torres has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
With the fighters up against the cage, Finley throws an elbow but misses.
Torres tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Torres drags the fight down to the ground.
Finley is looking to work some ground and pound but Torres has wrist control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Finley is looking to stand up but Torres won't let him.
Finley throws a big right hand that misses.
Torres is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Finley postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Torres is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Finley, into his guard.
Torres drops back, looking for a kneebar! Finley looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Finley looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Finley!

Finley stands up and beckons Torres to his feet.
Torres throws a lazy uppercut
and Finley counters with a shoot takedown. Torres fights it but they end up in guard.
Torres is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Finley is aware though and is defending well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Torres had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Finley defends it easily.
Finley tries to stand but Torres is controlling from the bottom.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Torres is on top in guard.

Torres goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Finley has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Torres but great work by Finley.
