Staffansson shoots and misses
and Maximus counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Maximus is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Staffansson sees it coming and defends easily.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Staffansson is trying to stand.
Maximus is looking to take a break and control but Staffansson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Maximus is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Staffansson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
