Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Carmelo Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Hare (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Carmelo Diaz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jimmy Hare! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Cecil Peabody and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Diaz feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Diaz wants to pass the guard but Hare is keeping the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Diaz postures up.
Diaz wanted to stand there but Hare had control of the position. Diaz looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Hare tries to land a sweep but no joy. Diaz trying to control the position from guard on top but Hare is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Hare looking to hit a scissor sweep but Diaz is one step ahead there. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Hare avoids the head kick by Diaz.
Diaz throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Diaz throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hare. Diaz fails to land the takedown. Diaz is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Diaz fails to land with a series of punches.
Hare misses with a low kick. Diaz has a takedown stuffed. Diaz misses with an uppercut. Diaz on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Hare. Hare obviously looking to wear him down.
Diaz closes this distance looking for a takedown but Hare circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Carmelo Diaz. That's going to take a lot out of him. Diaz keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nice sprawl there from Hare as Diaz shoots in. Hare stuns Diaz with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Diaz shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hare as he jumps to the side. Hare uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Diaz fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hare manages to avoid it. Hare misses with a low kick as Diaz jumps back. Hare looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hare connects with a solid leg kick. Hare keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Diaz fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Diaz is breathing heavily. A nice leg kick lands there from Hare. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Diaz throws a leg kick that is checked and Hare counters with a slapping leg kick. Diaz throws a sloppy head kick and Hare counters with a good low kick that Diaz was not able to check. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jimmy Hare dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Diaz takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Diaz steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Hare. That one must have hurt. Carmelo Diaz is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Diaz gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily letting Hare counter with a right hand. Hare lands a nice leg kick that just misses Diaz's sensitive parts. Diaz shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hare but Hare pushes him off and we're back to square one. Diaz keeps the fight on the outside. Hare scores with a takedown into Diaz's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Diaz looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Diaz looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Hare is defending well. Diaz quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Hare has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Diaz celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
