Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Michal Kowaski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ezio Auditore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Michal Kowaski! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ezio Auditore! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Daniel Franklin and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Auditore tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kowaski paws at him with a jab and circles away. Auditore shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Kowaski's guard. Kowaski looking to hit a scissor sweep but Auditore is one step ahead there. Auditore postures up.
Auditore slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Kowaski trying to keep a closed guard but Auditore is proving a slippery customer.
Michal Kowaski has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Auditore shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Kowaski napping and manages to drive through into side control! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kowaski can't do much from the bottom here. Auditore is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Kowaski is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. You can see the frustration on Kowaski's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kowaski tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Auditore wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Auditore tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Auditore takes a little break here. Kowaski wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Auditore throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Auditore just content to control the position. Auditore is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Kowaski has escaped the position, nice work there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Auditore has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Kowaski tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Auditore paws at him with a jab and circles away. Kowaski throws a head kick that Auditore semi-blocks.
Auditore shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Auditore showed some decent athleticism there. Auditore has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Kowaski defend it? Auditore steps over the head and cranks it - Kowaski is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Auditore!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Ezio Auditore!
