Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Smashing Machine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bolo Zhan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bolo Zhan is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bolo Zhan!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Cecil Peabody and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zhan shoots in and bounces Machine off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Zhan controls from within his opponent's guard.
Zhan trying to control the position from guard on top but Machine is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Machine has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Zhan can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Zhan pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Machine is keeping the position for now.
Machine doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Zhan trying to control the position from guard on top but Machine is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Zhan trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Zhan engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Machine knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Zhan on the ground.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Bolo Zhan.
Zhan tries for a takedown but Machine circles away easily
and Machine counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Zhan's guard now.
Machine has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Zhan manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Machine manages to get himself to full guard.
Zhan is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Zhan won't allow Machine to sweep him here.

Machine looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Zhan is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Zhan misses with a takedown attempt
and Machine counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Zhan's guard now.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Machine would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Machine is sitting in close to Zhan's body. Zhan has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Machine is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Machine is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Zhan.
