Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Luke Hobbs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Reece Ferrer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Hobbs might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Dusk Dismantled. Reece Ferrer has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Luke Hobbs! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Reece Ferrer! The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Eliza Hachem and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hobbs tries to close the distance and clinch but Ferrer swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Sloppy strikes from Ferrer. Those never looked like landing. Ferrer misses the body punch and Hobbs counters with a nice uppercut. Hobbs throws a poor cross that misses
and Ferrer counters with a nice body shot. Ferrer throws a right and a left that both miss. Ferrer bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Hobbs misses with a lunging right hand
and Ferrer counters with a left and a right that stings Hobbs. Ferrer is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ferrer throws a left and a right that both miss
and Ferrer takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Hobbs keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Hobbs throws a sloppy body shot
and Ferrer counters with a crisp one two that drops Hobbs! Ferrer thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Hobbs to his feet! Hobbs is in big trouble! Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Hobbs doesn't manage to clinch there - Ferrer circles away.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Hobbs throws a predictable looking body shot
and Ferrer counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Hobbs off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Ferrer follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Hobbs was out before he hit the floor.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:03 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Reece Ferrer!
