Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Janne Ninneman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Larry Thorne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ninneman comes to the ring accompanied by My Life. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Larry Thorne! The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Johanna Lukiainen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ninneman misses with a hook. Thorne ducked under it nicely. Janne Ninneman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Thorne lands a front kick. Thorne dodges the punch combination from Ninneman.
Thorne rushes Ninneman and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch. Thorne landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Ninneman is trying to break the clinch but Thorne is controlling him. Thorne escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Ninneman throws a series of punches but Thorne moves out of range. Thorne tries to close the distance and clinch but Ninneman swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Thorne takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Ninneman throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Thorne sees it coming and avoids it easily. Janne Ninneman is winning the standup battle so far. Ninneman slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Thorne fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Ninneman, pushing him back against the ropes. Ninneman is trying to break the clinch but Thorne has him pressed against the ropes. That's one minute gone in the round. Ninneman lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Thorne circles away quickly and effectively. Ninneman misses with a two punch combination.
Thorne tries to clinch up but Ninneman circles away and keeps his distance. Ninneman is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Thorne throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Thorne gets a clinch. Thorne missing with knees to the body.

And that's the end of the fight! Larry Thorne comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Thorne has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
