Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gunner Hansen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anton Walter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hansen's entrance music is The Prodigy - Breathe. A fine choice. Anton Walter told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Gunner Hansen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Anton Walter! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Atkins and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Walter cracks a nice hook into Hansen's ribs. Walter swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Walter scores with a nice right hand.
Walter lands a nice shot that snaps Hansen's head back.
Walter throws a right hand that Hansen ducks under and follows up with a left that Hansen also avoids with ease. Walter misses with a left hand and Hansen counters with a nice double leg into side control. Walter won't be happy with that. Hansen content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Walter wants to get back to his feet but Hansen drags him back down. Hansen is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Walter's shoulder. That is not cool. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Walter is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Hansen is controlling him well. A lull in the action here as Hansen stalls from top position. Hansen looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
That's one minute gone in the round. Walter is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Hansen is controlling him well. Walter really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hansen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Hansen controlling the position. Walter is pushing Hansen's head away, looking to escape. You can see the frustration on Walter's face as Hansen controls the position. Walter is pushing Hansen's head away, looking to escape. Hansen manages to hold on to the position though. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Walter trying to remain calm as Hansen controls from the top position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hansen has knee on belly and moves into mount. Hansen sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Walter can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hansen's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Hansen looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Hansen takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Walter is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Gunner Hansen just wasn't active enough. Walter throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hansen. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Gunner Hansen. Walter swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Hansen counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Hansen keeps control of Walter as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Walter breaks the clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Hansen looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Hansen shoots in but Walter avoids the takedown attempt easily. Hansen scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Hansen in particular looking to stall. Hansen stops Walter from getting back to his feet.
Walter won't allow Hansen to pass to mount. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hansen seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

We're going to have a standup here because Gunner Hansen wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Walter throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Walter misses with a double jab.
Hansen throws out a loose jab but Walter uses good head movement to avoid it. Walter tries to bum rush Hansen with a series of wild strikes but Hansen uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Walter swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

A swing and a miss from Walter. Walter cracks Hansen with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Walter lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Hansen backs up against the cage.

and Hansen holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Walter wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Hansen has him pressed against the cage. Hansen jumps guard and drags Walter to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Walter wants to stand but Hansen has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Hansen wants to sweep but no luck. Hansen pushes Walter off and gets back to his feet.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Walter fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hansen manages to avoid it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Gunner Hansen dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
No joy there for Walter, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

and Hansen counters with a single leg into guard. Walter didn't expect that. Hansen slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Walter keeping full guard, as Hansen tries to pass. Walter can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Hansen controls the pace.
Gunner Hansen has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Hansen misses with a takedown attempt - Walter sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Anton Walter is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Walter moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Hansen keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Anton Walter has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
And that's the end of the fight! Gunner Hansen showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Hansen, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
