Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Richard Hosnia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eduard Limonov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Limonov comes into a darkened arena with his song building. LollyPop - Танцуй, суч kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Eduard Limonov is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Richard Hosnia!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Eduard Limonov!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Valeri Chadov and Ivan Kurochkin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hosnia throws a leg kick that is checked

and Limonov counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Hosnia really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Hosnia is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Hosnia not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Hosnia is looking for a triangle but Limonov pushes his legs off easily.
Hosnia wants to sweep here but Limonov controlling him for the moment.
Limonov trying to control the position from guard on top but Hosnia is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Hosnia is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Limonov got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hosnia has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Limonov has managed to get both his arms back between Hosnia's legs - danger averted.

Hosnia will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Limonov closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Hosnia's guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Limonov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hosnia. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Eduard Limonov showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Hosnia's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Hosnia has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Limonov can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Limonov is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Hosnia has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Limonov is looking to defend but Hosnia has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Limonov! Hosnia pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Limonov taps out and this one is all over!
