Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kris Marsh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pelle Paniikki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Paniikki's choice of entrance music: N'sync - Bye Bye Bye. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Kris Marsh! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Pelle Paniikki! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Ben Zyskovitsi and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Marsh tries to score with a low kick but Paniikki moves his leg out of the way. Marsh lands a nice leg kick that just misses Paniikki's sensitive parts. Marsh connects with an inside leg kick. Marsh misses with a low kick as Paniikki jumps back. Paniikki with a poor takedown and Marsh counters with an outside leg kick.
Marsh is looking to land body kicks. Marsh closes the distance and clinches. Marsh lands a body shot in the clinch.
Paniikki jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Marsh walks away with a smile on his face. Paniikki gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Marsh misses with a lunging right hand
and Paniikki counters with a takedown into side control. Paniikki is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Marsh is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Paniikki looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Paniikki is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Marsh knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
That's one minute gone in the round. Paniikki is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Marsh is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Marsh tries to bench press Paniikki off him but Paniikki keeps the position. Paniikki is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Marsh knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Paniikki tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Paniikki has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Marsh struggling a bit here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Paniikki wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Marsh, who protects the arm well. Marsh struggling a bit here. Paniikki swings around for an armbar but Marsh sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Paniikki's guard. Paniikki is looking for a triangle here but Marsh uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Paniikki manages to work his way to half guard, despite Marsh's best efforts. Paniikki is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Marsh pulls his head out easily. Paniikki is refusing to be controlled, as Marsh sits in half guard. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Paniikki is not content to let Marsh control the position. Marsh scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Marsh tries to pass to full mount but Paniikki defends it. Marsh is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Paniikki! Marsh scores with a couple of good head shots there.
It looks like Pelle Paniikki has been cut. Marsh connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Paniikki is rocked! Marsh landing strikes from the mount and Paniikki is in trouble! Paniikki is still in real trouble! Can Marsh finish him? A big strike lands for Marsh! That's really hurt Paniikki and he's turned his back - Marsh keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Marsh jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
