Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mark Jansen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adaru Kitano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kitano has chosen Arch Enemy - We Will Rise as his entrance music. Mark Jansen has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Anthony Taglia and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jansen has taken the fight to the clinch.
Kitano wants to break the clinch but can't.
Kitano tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Jansen just stands there and leans against the cage.
Jansen tightens his grip and picks Kitano up, before dumping him to the ground. Kitano manages to land in guard.
Kitano is looking for a triangle but Jansen pushes his legs off easily.
Kitano controls Jansen momentarily but Jansen frees himself.
Jansen trying to control but Kitano is working from the bottom.
Jansen throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Kitano working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jansen doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Jansen manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Kitano has his foot on Jansen's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Jansen works his way back into a safe position though.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kitano had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Jansen is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Kitano Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Jansen's back instead.
