We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Mailov can do anything to dispel that myth.

Mailov wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Ze Spario.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Ze Spario with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Ze Spario breaks from Mailov's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Ze Spario unloads with some shots from mount but Mailov bucks and avoids them well.
Ze Spario has control of Mailov's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Mailov regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Ze Spario jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Mailov manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Mailov wants to control but Ze Spario postures up.
Ze Spario wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mailov keeps working.
Mailov pushes Ze Spario away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Ze Spario gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Mailov wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.

Mailov is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Ze Spario pushes a forearm under Mailov's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Mailov is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
